TOM'S COVE PARK

Chincoteague Island is best known as the home of the world-famous Chincoteague Ponies. Now a Registered Breed, the Ponies can be seen throughout the year on Assateague Island. Just a stone's throw from Assateague, Tom's Cove Park is the ideal place to stay while camping on Chincoteague Island. The world famous Pony Swim, held on the last Wednesday and Thursday in July, can be seen from our campground.
